This blog was supposed to be called "Song For The Day", however, it was unavailable. From that you should get the general idea of what it's about. I am using this as an opportunity to showcase some good music people may not know or heard of, or something that is of general interest and may turn them on to something new, or purely to revisit. Any suggestions/contributions are welcome, no matter how obscure or 'mainstream' they are.

Paul Butterfield Blues Band - Driftin' Blues (Monterey 1967)
Taken from the Monterrey Festival, brilliant piece of big band blues. Nice dynamics, allowing space for each other to play and build it up. This was post Mike Bloomfield, but I think he's in there somewhere applauding.
