I am using this as an opportunity to showcase some good music people may not know or heard of, or something that is of general interest and may turn them on to something new, or purely to revisit. Any suggestions/contributions are welcome, no matter how obscure or 'mainstream' they are.

Cat Power - Ramblin' Woman
God knows how Cat Power turned this old country song, by Hank Williams, into this brooding, blues groove. Aided by The Delta Blues Band, the slow, pondering tempo compliments the downbeat lyrics. Features on Cat Powers' 'Jukebox' album.
