This blog was supposed to be called "Song For The Day", however, it was unavailable. From that you should get the general idea of what it's about. I am using this as an opportunity to showcase some good music people may not know or heard of, or something that is of general interest and may turn them on to something new, or purely to revisit. Any suggestions/contributions are welcome, no matter how obscure or 'mainstream' they are.

Fleetwood Mac - Dragonfly
This was Fleetwood Mac's first release after the departure of Peter Green. A, for the want of a better word, 'psychedelic' opus, possibly relating to the departure of Peter Green. The lyrics are taken from a poem by Welsh poet W. H. Davies, also called 'Dragonfly'. Lead guitarist Danny Kirwan played alongside Green previously, here he is complimented by the subtle rhythm guitar of Bob Welch, and the trundling rhythm section of Fleetwood and McVie, of the orignal line up. For those who are interested, other poems by W.H. Davies can be found here http://www.theglade.net/whdavies/whdavies.html.
